Cool, it's fun to see some debate and discussion on this list. :-)

Yes, that's what I've been thinking.

I too vote for Drupal, especially since Boris Mann (a real Drupal dude)
is now a JSF member.

I would like to start some experiments with Drupal on a site other than
jabber.org so that we can get our feet wet. I think http://www.xmpp.net/
would be a good place to experiment because it's not mission-critical to
anything (yet!) and it's a small site.

Any volunteers to help me get that going? I downloaded Drupal to apollo
(our webserver machine) and started to do some setup for xmpp.net but
got distracted. We have an existing database from which we pull the
server info so I'm not sure how that would integrate with Drupal. Also I
guess that we'll want to find volunteers to update the database etc. so
that this XMPP Federation site does not have a single point of failure
(i.e., me). Ping me off-list if you have Drupal knowledge and would like
to assist.

After we get xmpp.net going with Drupal, perhaps we can migrate xmpp.org
and then work on jabber.org since that will require the most work.
