I don't think I did really, the part I cut out made it clear that you
think clients and servers are not of large-scale benefit to the
community, but didn't make it clear what you considered worthy in

I don't understand what type of project it is you're pushing, really;
protocol is out of the scope of the SoC (it must be code, not
documentation), compliance of protocols is an issue of servers and
clients, and the public jabber network itself is a collection of
servers and clients.
I think a couple of examples of projects of a larger scale would at
the least allow me to better understand what it is I'm disagreeing
