I fully agree with original PSA comments and rationale. In fact, I'm a
bit tired of refering my "IM network" always as "Jabber/XMPP", since
XMPP is not a wide known name, but this technology is not the original
"jabber" neither. So I got the compromise of naming "XMPP" as a tribute
to "the real thing" (since RFC publication) and "jabber" as practical
tribute to name recognition. So, the "Jabber/XMPP" thing in all my
documentation, presentations, business card, etc.

I must note we are refering to our XMPP addresses as "JID",
nevertheless: Jabber ID's :-).

Split minds!.
