Personnaly I really dislike CDs for softwares. People are taking them
massively at every stand and when they never use them, they just get dumped
in the bin. Anyway softwares on it got fastly outdated, etc. From another
point of view, that's maybe a great media of advertisement for many people
who don't know well computers (they may prefer CDs with easy installer
rather than find on the net a software they have been told to, but don't
even remember the name!). But at something like FOSDEM... where people are
(I guess) mostly developpers, or at least technological knowledger, they
would even more easily go on the websites get the advertised programs.

So it is far better to make advertisement papers with all the link to go get
the software, some explanations about it, etc. than CDs. So more ecological,
less expensive, without the impression to waste.
