That helps how? It's not about testing if that specific feature works.

And how will you test against the configuration on jabber.org? Having  
xmpp.org running always the latest trunk makes it very easy to update  
jabber.org, as it's already tested then.

Exactly, and xmpp.org will give real world results. Not from the  
beginning, but once there are a few users. I'm pretty sure it won't  
take long until it gets the second biggest server.

So, why not offer an XMPP service on both, so they are not confused  
that there's no XMPP on xmpp.org (no XMPP on xmpp.org is quite a  
paradoxon, isn't it?)
