[Members] limit of board members

A limit on the number of candidates (for the board)?  I think you mean  
changing the maximum size of the board, which is currently specified  
in the by-laws.  (Limiting the number of candidates would, I think, be  
quite problematic.)

The by-laws does limit the size of the board (between 3 and 7  
directors).  This seems reasonable to me, though I wouldn't  
necessarily opposing changing the max size of the board from 7 to 5.

In reviewing the by-laws, I could not find any limit of the number of  
council candidates, nor any restriction on the size of the council.  I  
presume you refer to some size limit imposed otherwise.
