Hi,

I am really sorry to say this, but I really hope this is not an actual
"official" XSF page on Facebook. I have nothing personal against
Facebook, and if people want to subscribe on it for fun or to display
whatever information they want, or even make some unofficial XMPP page,
whatever. But I would be absolutely against that the Foundation
associates its image officially with Facebook.

A open Standards foundation has really nothing to do with a closed
organism like Facebook in my opinion. They can work with us on improving
XMPP as they use it, but I don't think we should propose people to
subscribe to Facebook to follow what happens in the XSF.
Likewise I obviously object to adding a badge on our website as though
it was any kind of official communication medium for us (which I hope it
will never become).
Thanks.

Jehan
