Thanks to Mike Taylor and Peter Saint-Andre.
There is a thread at
http://mail.jabber.org/pipermail/standards/2013-October/028086.html
It was suggested that the discussion be taken on the Members list.
I like what Dave Cridland wrote:
"the right environment to support that, and responsible for ensuring that
people use those protocols we create. I think we should - as a community
- be supporting Board's activities at least as much as we support
the XEPs themselves."
In my opinion there isn't much a Board can do without a community to
support its activities. I read the message at
http://mail.jabber.org/pipermail/members/2013-March/007104.html The
following is something worth highlighting:
"learn to accept and make good usage of smaller contributions."
Every contribution matters. Taken by itself it may not be
visible. It is however what is sorely needed in a volunteer
organization. The XSF does good work. It has the ability to do
better as it has talented members. The better way to do that is
through discussion where everyone has a say and everyone can
contribute in his or her way.
