Hello Peter

>From my point of view it looks ok. Perhaps a small "as well" at the end of the question?

"Or would TC 122 prefer that any individuals consulted in these matters be appointed as liaisons to TC 122 as well?"

Best regards,
Peter Waher

On September 19th, the Board held a meeting about a liaison request from Technical Committee 122 at the ISO:

During that meeting, I promised to draft a reply to TC 122 for review by the membership. Here is proposed text.

Thank you for your invitation to establish a liaison relationship between ISO Technical Committee 122 and the XMPP Standards Foundation (XSF). The XSF's Board of Directors has indicated an inclination to establish such a relationship, but would like to clarify one detail before proceeding.

We understand that the XSF would appoint one or more individuals to act as XMPP experts, who would be granted access to provide input in TC 122's standardization of the relevant specifications. If needed, would those designated individuals be able to discuss or share technical aspects of TC 122's work with other experts (e.g., members of the XMPP
Council) in order to provide appropriate feedback? Or would TC 122 prefer that any individuals consulted in these matters be appointed as liaisons to TC 122?

We look forward to continuing this conversation at your earliest convenience.
