So a challenge under §4 that is raised after the election?
I think ejecting a member has to be done under the by-laws, though, and
we've essentially no facility for doing so beyond the 2/3 majority vote
described in §2.5.
There's other cases, too, such as what happens if an existing member places
a second (or fourteenth) application under a false name - we'd have to
ensure that we removed not only the sock-puppet members but also the
existing member, for whom the application wasn't misleading.
I'd hope that our membership would vote accordingly under §2.5 in both
cases, mind, and placing arbitrary power to eject members into the hands of
the Board worries me.
