First, thank you Adam and the others involved in creating the new home
page. Glad to see that the 'Software' section has now a 'Projects'
entry. I guess it's for XMPP related software that's neither a client,
server or a library, like XMPP Bots and such. Happy to see that there is
now a place for GTalkSMS, MAXS and Co.

How would users enter new items under software? Still by writing a mail
to jdev? This appears to error prone, causing the involved parties more
work then necessary [1]. How about by sending patches directly to the
XSF (e.g. by using github pull requests)?

What dwd said. Being concerned was also my first reaction when I looked
at the page, as it gives the impression that xmpp.org recommends a
particular piece of software. But it appears that this has already been
sorted out and that the common opinion is that the XSF should not. and
is neither able to, recommend software. Of course recommending to
software done by an individual is perfectly fine.
