Hi folks,

The XSF’s GSoC application is in. We’ll find out in a couple of weeks whether we’re accepted, but in the meantime, if you’re someone who has any power over the web infrastructure (e.g. Editors, iteam, people with merge access on GitHub), please *do not* do anything in this period that could cause even brief outages.

Last year the XSF wasn’t selected for GSoC because xmpp.net brought down the web server for a few hours. I am very keen that our effort this year is not similarly wasted.
