[Members] [editor] Problems with pull request of xmpp.org (not directly XEP related)

Hello Kevin

Thanks for the response.

Trying to figure out what the error means, but I cannot find any information about why the build failed and what can be done about it. I added a record as described in https://github.com/xsf/xmpp.org/blob/master/data/README.rst, but under the section "If you do not use the tool" since I don’t use Python.

The pull request only adds one record. Checking with an online JSON validator to make sure it’s valid, and it does not complain:
https://github.com/xsf/xmpp.org/pull/431/files

There seems to be two build jobs. Did both fail? No intelligible error message is shown that can guide me with regards to what is wrong (only that clients.json is involved):
https://travis-ci.org/xsf/xmpp.org/builds/366456966
https://travis-ci.org/xsf/xmpp.org/jobs/366456967
https://travis-ci.org/xsf/xmpp.org/jobs/366456968

Anyone that can shed light on this?

Best regards,
Peter Waher

Not sure where the most appropriate place for xmpp.org issues is, so taking this to members (it’s not editor@, at least).

No it’s not a permissions problem, the issue is as it says on the tin - the PR failed the validation step because the build failed. The PR has the various details of the failure linked from it.

/K
