+1 to that. My stats for comparison:

mid apr - mid may: 17 MB
mid may - mid june: 24 MB
mid june - mid july: 31 MB
mid july - today: 8 MB

I have like 15 MUCs maybe. While I’m not always on, the MUCs get their history
synced on each connect. Out of those 15 MUCs, maybe 5 or 10 have MAM, so their
message traffic is equal to as if I were always on.

I concur with Georg that something else must be going on here. I also think
that file transfers (be it HTTP Upload or direct) are the most likely cause
here, aside from possible client malfunctions generating high amounts of
traffic (either on the user’s side or on a contact’s side).

I would be interested in more information about this situation:

- Which mobile client?
- How many contacts?
- Are MUCs involved, if so, how many?
- Which server (domain and/or software version)?

kind regards,
