I've been interested in it for some time. There are so many broad 
protocols that I want to investigate for ideas or possible integration 
into Jabber (I love doing research), but until I get paid to do such a 
thing, it's all on my spare time.

But JXTA does look very interesting, and I'll probably get around to 
researching it in depth in about 3 months.

Didn't know JXTA used XML for its protocol. But then, I might be 
confusing JXTA with J2EE.
