Well Joe, that probably comes from me misunderstanding the MUC JEP !

So basically what you say is that when answering the disco#info request, the conferencing service would respond something like this:

<iq
    type='result'
    from='macbeth.shakespeare.lit'
    to='hag66 at shakespeare.lit/pda'
    id='disco1'>
  <query xmlns='http://jabber.org/protocol/disco#info'>
    <identity
        category='conference'
        type='text'
        name='Macbeth Chat Service'/>
    <identity
        category='conference'
        type='voice'
        name='Macbeth Chat Service'/>
    <feature var='gc-1.0'/>
    <feature var='http://jabber.org/protocol/muc'/>
    <feature var='http://jabber.org/protocol/tins'/>
  </query>
</iq>

(assuming here that TINS soon goes into the JEP process)

Is that correct ?
