Ok, I have a follow-up, here:

In example 32 about requesting current affiliations, I think there MUST be a
jid attribute to each entity. This is because jids with resource part can be
subscribed to nodes and an entity that requests this information probably wants
to know. Looks like this:

<iq type="result" to="sub1 at foo.com" from="pubsub.jabber.org" id="allsubs">
  <pubsub xmlns="http://jabber.org/protocol/pubsub">
    <affiliations>
      <entity node="node1" jid="sub at foo.com" affiliation="owner" subscription="subscribed"/>
      <entity node="node2" jid="sub at foo.com" affiliation="publisher" subscription="subscribed"/>
      <entity node="node3" jid="sub at foo.com" affiliation="none" subscription="subscribed"/>
      <entity node="node4" jid="sub at foo.com/bar" affiliation="none" subscription="pending"/>
      <entity node="node5" jid="sub at foo.com" affiliation="outcast" subscription="none"/>
      <entity node="node6" jid="sub at foo.com" affiliation="owner" subscription="none"/>
    </affiliations>
  </pubsub>
</iq>
