No. The big difference is that this extra data, while maybe superfluous for
some, actually belongs to the presence. You want to attach this signature
to the presence message, assuring that that particular presence packet
came from you.

Other stuff, like avatars, currently playing song or your location is not
really part of your basic presence, and should therefore be sent using for
example JEP-0060, Publish/Subscribe.
