Well, my vCard includes a link to my home page. Does that make all
subscription requests I send SPIM? If not, what if my web site were a
commercial one? What if I sell viagra imitations from that web site?

The difference is, I'm pulling the users vcard, whereas I think SPIM
would only be something that is pushed to me, like messages or
subscription requests themselves.

Bad - You get pulled over for doing 90 in a school zone and you're drunk
off your ass again at three in the afternoon.
Worse - The cop is drunk too, and he's a mean drunk.
FUCK! - A mean drunk that's actually a swarm of semi-sentient
flesh-eating beetles.
