Thanks, I'd forgotten about JEP-50's actions! Unfortunately the actions 
seem to be limited to 'prev', 'next' and 'complete'.  Maybe JEP-50 
(still draft) would be a better base for implementing this than the 
finalised JEP-4?

I'll think about this some more.
