Me too. But not just messages. This should apply to any stanza error.

MUC, and other presence implementations in general, need to be smart
enough to interpret fatal delivery errors as "hey this guy is
unavailable". Perhaps this should be in a RFC somewhere rather than each
JEP? This would also be useful for broadcast presence. If a user's
server tries to send a stanza to a JID and it is unreachable due to a
communication error, the server should broadcast unavailable presence on
behalf of the JID. This broadcast should follow the standard unavailable
broadcast rules, including directed presence.
