Call for Experience ended on 2009-05-22. Advance to Final?

No objections to advancement.

3. XMPP Ping

Call for Experience ended on 2009-05-22. Advance to Final?

No objections to advancement. Ralph mentioned that the mailing list
discussion raised some valuable insights based on implementation and
deployment experience, which would be good to capture in the spec. Peter
to write some appropriate text before advancing the spec.

4. Roster Versioning

Advance to Draft?

All Council members +1.

5. Entity Time

XEP-0090 is set to expire on 2009-06-30. The Council needs to decide
whether to maintain this specification in the Deprecated state for
another 6 months or change its status to Obsolete.

All Council members +1 on changing to Obsolete.

6. Delayed Delivery

XEP-0091 is set to expire on 2009-06-30. The Council needs to decide
whether to maintain this specification in the Deprecated state for
another 6 months or change its status to Obsolete.

All Council members +1 on changing to Obsolete.

7. Message Events

XEP-0022 is currently Deprecated but does not have an expiration date.
The Council might want to assign an expiration date or change its status
to Obsolete.

Concerns raised about whether this is really needed or provides the
right solution. Mike Taylor, Nathan Fritz, and Jack Moffitt to work on
explanatory text about the problem and alternate (but less desirable)
solutions.

Concerns raised about complexity and whether it really solves the
problem of "session hush" for mobile applications. Peter to work on
expanded text.
