That would also be problematic, since entities would then need to process
presence rather differently, even more so than they do for MUC now.

I was thinking simply:

<presence from='{{proxyjid}}' id='{{tracking id}}'>
  <!-- ... -->
  <mix xmlns='...'>
    <jid/>
    <nickname/>
  </mix>
</presence>
