Subject: [Standards-JIG] How many voice chat implementations do we need?

I saw today that Google have launched a Jabber service and a client with
support for audio chat. OS X includes iChat, a Jabber client with support
for audio and video chat. These clients are, of course, incompatible.

Has either group been approached about submitting their A/V chat protocol as
a JEP?
