Well, that was what I was doing, using iq:browse to get metainformation.
The problem is that we don't really seem to have a very complete approach
to defining metainformation for Jabber servers. Perhaps that's not the
case, though. The question is, what is appropriate metainformation?
For example, there is a notion of "private" vs "public" jabber servers.
Does this notion apply to everything provided by the server? Could I have
a public jabber server but perhaps some of the services, like gateways,
are private. Are user directories searchable (public) or not (private)?
