Unfortunately, we don't have much of a choice in this.

This election has had the candidates modified midway through the
voting, with some candidates being allowed to add their names to the
list after both applications had closed and voting had started. The
two ways of resolving this seem to be either
1) Remove the people who were added late. Restart voting.
2) Reopen applications such that other late people also have the
chance to be added. Restart voting.

(As discussed a couple of weeks ago in the other thread).
