[IOT] Introduction and OpenSpime

Dear all, glad to be part of this list. I've worked in the IoT field since march 2008, with the company I am co-founder of. Back in the days, I took the liberty of defining a XMPP extension which had the purpose of defining how physical devices could interact, and other concepts such as distributed lookup and searches that would spread across XMPP networks, or the claiming of devices' ownerships.
